之前準備雅思時，曾經統整老師上課和參考書的寫作架構句，在此野人獻曝囉~ 話說寫作結構和許多例句都是上課老師教的，非常實用，我之前是在劍橋台北補習的，老師是Borris，教的很好，口說和寫作的邏輯和結構尤是。

雅思IELTS Task 1 圖表題：

(一) 圓餅、柱狀、曲線圖 寫作架構句型：

第一段(寫作重點)：

1. Introduction → Rephrase the topic (換字重新描述一遍題目)

2. State the general trend (描述圖表總體趨勢)

第一段(句型)：

Introduction (Rephrase the topic)寫法：

(1) 

(2)

接著 State the general trend (描述圖表總體趨勢) 的寫法：

(1) One reveals + A圖趨勢 while the other highlights + B圖趨勢

(2) The former demonstrates + A圖趨勢 while the latter reveals+ B圖趨勢

(3) The first provides data on A圖趨勢, while the second indicates B圖趨勢

(4) It is crystal clear that... / strikingly evident that.../ extremly obvious that...

(5) As can be seen from the data,...

第二段&第三段開頭可用句型：

(1) Clearly,...

(2) More specifically,...

(3) Not surprisingly,...

(4) It is also interesting to note that ...

其它文章中可用句型：

(1) be likely to = be inclined to = tend to 傾向

Ex: As(=When) students get older they are less inclined to undertake vocational studies.

(2) in terms of = from the point of view of 以...為觀點

(3) 放在百分比or數字前、表大約的副詞：

approximately = somewhere in the = about = nearly = fewer than/less than + 數字or 百分比

(4) 成反比：

A shows the inverse relationship with B = A and B are in inverse proportion = A is inversely propotional to B

(5) 成正比：

A and B are in direct proportion = A is directly proportional to B

(二) 流程圖 寫作架構句型：

第一段(寫作重點)：

1. Introduction → Rephrase the topic (換字重新描述一遍題目)

2. State the general trend (描述圖表總體趨勢---和上述(一)不同的是，這邊可寫流程圖共分為幾個階段)

第一段(句型)：

Introduction (Rephrase the topic)寫法：

基本上和(一)的introduction 句型一樣

State the general trend (描述圖表總體趨勢) 的寫法：

(__是看可主要分為幾個階段，通常可歸分為兩到三個主要階段，特別注意不是寫總共幾個步驟喔!)

只有一個流程圖：It is strikingly evident that there are ___ main phases involved. 

兩個流程圖：The former can be divided into ___ phases while the latter can be seperated to ___ stages.

第二段&第三段 描寫步驟時須用到的「表次序」用字：

(1) Initially = To begin with,...

(2) This stage lasts for up to _多久時間_ until... = After a period of nearly _多久時間__, ...

(3) Once _前一步驟 (Ved)_, ...(接下來的步驟)

(4) Prior to _第二步驟_, it is first necessary to ...(第二步驟)

(5) then = subsequently = after that = next

(6) Meanwhile,...

(7) ... (be) followed by Ving...

(8) Finally,... = Eventually,... = The process ends with ...

雅思IELTS Task 2 申論題：

(一) Agree or Disagree / What's your opinion題型： 

EX: Nowadays, more people are migrating to other countries than ever before. In order to become integrated into society in their adopted countries, immigrants should abandon their old ways and adapt to local customs and codes of behaviour. Do you agree or Disagree?              

架構：

第一段：Introduction

第二段：Agree/Disagree論點一 or opinion 論點一

第三段：Agree/Disagree 論點二 or opinion 論點二

第四段：Conclusion

句型：  

第一段：

(1) It is an indisputable / well-known fact that ___文章主題___ has ...

(2) The issue of whether _文章主題__ or not is definitely/ certainly a controversial one. Despite the arguments of some people that ... . I personally believe that ... . The following essay will illustrate two of the principal / chief reasons of this.

第二段 &第三段　提出論點的寫法：

(1) One point which I condsider to be absolutely vital is that...

(2) In addition,...(第二點)

(3) Equally importantly,...(第二點)

(4) Even more worrying is ...(第二點)

(5) Further and even more importantly,...(第二點)

第四段 結論：

To sum up = Generally speaking = In summary

(一) Cause, effect, solution 題型：

Ex: With divorce rates and family breakdowns increasing globally, it is generally accepted that families today are not as close as they used to be. Discuss the cause of this problem and offer some possible solutions to it.

架構：

第一段：Introduction, Cause, effect, linking sentence)

第二段：Solution 1 + Supporting sentences

第三段：Solution 2 + Supporting sentences

第四段：Conclusion

句型：  

第一段：

Introduction:

(1) There has been a significant problem/delimma on the rise in society regarding/ involving __文章主要探討的問題(n.)__.

(2) The problem of __文章主要探討的問題(n.)__ has been on the increase as of late in society.

(3) In the recent past, the issue of __文章主要探討的問題(n.)__ has presented itself as a vital challenge for society.

Cause:

(1) This is simply resulting from/ owing to/ due to the fact that ...

(2) This is basically attributed to the fact that...

(3) Reasons surrounding this are that ...

(4) The root of the problem is that ...

Effect/ Result:

(1) consequently, there are a number of repercussions / negative effects such as n. and n.

(2) As a result, the repercussions / negative effects are that S+V...

(3) Therefore, the subsequent aftereffects are that S+V...

(4) There are a number of impacts, the main ones being n. and n.

Linking Sentences (用以過渡到第二段)：

(1) Sure, this is undoubtedly a significant delimma for society. However, there are some solutions available.

(2) Although this presents as a crucial/ vital problem, there are some solutions on hand.

(3) While it can't be denied that this problem won't disappear soon, there are some ways to solve it in the long run.

第二段& 第三段：

Solutions:

(1) ...could be the first solution to such problem.

(2)...,first of all, could be one solution to such problem.

(3) Secondly, another possible alternative might be n.

Supporting sentences(有三種寫法):

(1) Reason (提出原因): If people..., they will...

(2) Advantages/Disadvantage (提出優缺點):

→ One benefit/advantage is that...

→ However, a possible drawback is that...

(3) Example(舉例):

→ One good/classic/typical example could be that ...

→ ..., which can be an excellent example.

→ In particular,...

第四段 結論：

To sum up = Generally speaking = In summary

其實最近覺得這本書《英文寫作風格的要素》有很多寫作的觀念很好，強調寫作要力求簡潔，或許是追求分數之外，要另外特別注意的吧! 像我的文章可能真的就有很多地方囉哩叭縮又沒寫到重點，才只有5.5-6 ><。
